3-D data-space joint inversion of gravity and magnetic data using a correlation-analysis constraint

Non-uniqueness, low computational efficiency and large memory requirements are main issues for geophysical data inversion. In this paper, we propose an efficient algorithm 3D correlationanalysis joint inversion of gravity magnetic with high accuracy computation effort. Firstly, since the number observed field is smaller than inverted parameters, calculations correlation-analysis in model space (MS) transformed into equivalent (DS), which can reduce dimensions calculation domain, improve non-uniqueness. Then, improved conjugate gradient (ICG) method employed optimization algorithm, facilitate use stable functions sparse factors The performed by combined DS-ICG synthetic tests shows effort be effectively reduced, non-uniqueness improved. Finally, test real delineate distribution underground geological bodies, illustrates strong stability good applicability our extended method.
